Olin Yoder

Oil Painting

Olin Yoder was born in the mountains of Western Maryland, and graduated Shepherd College in West Virginia with a degree in Art Education. He received a masters degree in Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute of Art in Baltimore, Maryland. For many years he taught art in Anne Arundel County schools, receiving the Teacher of the Year award in 1990. He presently teaches at Catonsville Community College

Olin's subject matter is varied and eclectic, his colors brilliant and intense. He scours flea markets for assorted objects, looks for street scenes in life around Baltimore, and paints exotic locations on his travels around the world. His work is in private and corporate collections, restaurants and galleries throughout the state of Maryland.
